2009-2010:  Advisor to the Conservative shadow defence spokesman in the House of Lords

2003-2010: Member of a policy advisory group providing advice to the Conservative shadow spokesman on defence procurement 

FIRST DEFENCE

2002-2009:  Policy Director of First Defence;  involved in the production and editing of a series of policy pamphlets and arranging a variety of meetings in the House of Commons as well as visits to NATO
